Open Love Letter To New Staff: What’s Waiting For You At Rethreaded

We are closing out Human Trafficking Awareness Month with open love letters to our brand new staff and the women still out there waiting to become a part of the Rethreaded family. Our wish is that these words will give the ladies, waiting to enter our doors, the hope and encouragement they need.

Welcome,

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I have been working here at Rethreaded for over two years! The best thing is when we get to hire new ladies, just like you! I know it might seem a little scary starting a new job but let me tell you- Rethreaded is a family. As soon as you walk through the doors you are going to be given so much love and hope. We are here for you- we all had to have our first day! You are going to love it. Here we get really lucky because Kristin really cares about every single one of us! Make sure to use all the resources that Rethreaded has to offer you. There are so many women that want to be here and God chose YOU. You are meant to be here. Have fun and enjoy the journey. Thank you for being you.

It is an honor to have you here with us!! I know what you may be feeling right now. I’ve been there. Just know that from this day forward you are not alone. Rethreaded is family! A Community! When I first started I was scared. Scared of change, scared of failure. My supervisor, Nikki, was more supportive than I could have ever asked for. I had no confidence in the things that I could accomplish. All I could think of was how I wished my life could be. I prayed, I used the resources available, and I dug deep. Don’t let anyone stand in the way of your healing, your journey, and your future. Do you have dreams? Go after them. Nothing is too big or too small.

I have now been at Rethreaded for three and a half years. During my time here I have started college and I’m on my way to my Bachelor’s in business, I’ve regained custody of my child, restored relationships with loved ones, gotten a drivers license, two new cars, my own home, an expungement of my criminal record. I have mastered the finance department and am now permanent staff as the Assistant Manager of Business Development. I shared all of that so that I could give you hope. Some of those things may just be what you are looking for too. All of it is possible. We have the resources available. If you want something in life, get it. I know it could seem so far off, but as of today it is just at your fingertips. Reach and don’t give up! We won’t give up on you. I look forward to walking this journey with you. Just know that I am always available to you and for you.
