We see you being awesome and wearing your mask! While masks prevent the spread of germs, it is also important to keep them clean! With new mandates, requiring masks to be worn in most indoor public spaces, it is more important than ever to keep them clean! These are our favorite and easy ways to clean your mask at home:
Option 1: Machine Wash; Throw your mask into a pillowcase or a mesh bag and wash along with your regular laundry. Air dry after machine wash.
Option 2: Let the mask sit in boiling water. Hot water is a great and easy way to sterilize your mask. After the use of your mask, let it sit in hot water for at least 20 minutes. Air dry after soaking in hot water.
Option 3: Wash by hand. Using soap and hot water, wash by hand, rubbing the mask by hand for at least 30 seconds. You can use regular laundry detergent when washing by hand. Air dry after washing by hand.
