The Mission of Rethreaded is to Renew Hope, Reignite Dreams, and Release Potential of Survivors of Human Trafficking Through Business.
Volunteers help make this mission happen. Rethreaded Volunteers are like family to us. We create an on-site volunteer experience at Rethreaded that will not only inspire your team but also helps foster closer relationships. Volunteer activities include sorting donated T-shirts, deconstructing leather seats and a variety of other activities. Earlier this spring, Summit Contracting, a team of hard workers came to volunteer with us and we were blessed by their service. Summit was kind enough to send Kristin Keen a letter to let our team know how much they enjoyed volunteering with us.
Dear Kristin and the Staff at Rethreaded,
Thank you for providing an incredible volunteer experience for us on March 29th. Our team had a blast sorting t-shirts and enjoying some afternoon sun together. This was the perfect way to engage people in an activity outside the normal routine, learn some new things about our community and strengthen the team as a whole.
The introduction you and your staff gave about Rethreaded's history and mission also left a lasting impression:
“What I appreciated most was learning about Rethreaded and how they are going out into our Jacksonville community and changing the lives of many people that have been subject to human trafficking. Being a part of something this special really puts things into perspective and makes you realize how much our involvement really means to the organization.” – Jonah
“It was great being around an atmosphere created for empowering women, and it was fun spending time with my Summit family and the Rethreaded staff!” – Kerrigan
We hope to work with Rethreaded again in the future!
Best Regards,
Nícole George Director of Marketing Summit Contracting Group
