CISV is an international nonprofit that educates and inspires action for a more just and peaceful world through educational programs for youth and adults and supports sustainable development.
Last Tuesday, Rethreaded had the honor and pleasure of hosting the group for a meaningful volunteer project. International volunteers from Egypt, Ecuador, Austria, Europe and the USA started the day with a tour of the warehouse, learning how Rethreaded fights the sex trade by making an upcycled product under a sustainable business model.
“We are thrilled to have CISV volunteers join us in the workshop, learn about how Rethreaded’s mission and discuss ways that similar socially-responsible organizations can succeed in Florida and in other countries,” said Jason Jones, Director of Sales and Operations.
The group spent the day painting, sanding and gardening to helping with warehouse renovations, and also assisted with cleaning helping us prep for the Rethreaded Turns Fiveevent coming up this Saturday!
Thank you CISV! We appreciate all your hard work!
