Rethreaded would not be what it is without the help we receive from the community. Jesse Brantman and Lexi Mire Brantman have dedicated their time and talents to Rethreaded for many years. Jesse and Lexi are incredible photographers who are using their business to good in their local community. They have spent countless hours taking beautiful photos for our marketing and have helped us in so many creative ways. We have so much love for them and all that they do for the community. Today we want to spotlight this wonderful duo. Here is a little sneak peek into their wonderful personalities and lives as professional photographers.
You both use your talents and gifts to help better the community- what drives you to continue to support the Rethreaded Community?
“We feel extremely lucky to be able to use our creative skills not only for our business, but also for the good of others. We feel pretty strongly that if you’re lucky enough to have some sort of skill, you should be using it to add value to your community. Rethreaded has always received some major mileage out of the work we’ve done together, and it is a joy to work with the team. We are also extremely passionate about Rethreaded’s mission to help women grow and heal through work and community.”
Photography (and the photographers behind the camera) can have such an impact on people- in what way(s) do you believe photography can bring a community of people together?
“Photography can tell the story of a community in ways that the written word can’t express. You can hear the stories of those who have struggled, but to see their portraits, to put a face to the name, really has such an impact. Photography also takes everyday stories and delivers them to a broader audience, creating a bold legacy that lives on and impacts more than just us, and those around us.”
What advice would you give someone who wants to use their talents to help the community but maybe doesn’t know where to start?
“Ask yourself what is important to you. Whether that be the environment, animals, education, etc. and then seek out organizations that are involved with that cause. There is always a need for an extra set of hands, and you will get more in return than you realize.”

Do you have a favorite Rethreaded photo shoot memory?
“Our first Rethreaded shoot is one that sticks out fondly in our minds. Everyone was donating their time and skills, whether it was hair and make up, location, styling, or snacks. We were all super excited to help and there was a great energy the whole day. When the shoot wrapped, we knew that we wanted to continue working with Rethreaded.”
Last time you chatted with us you said The Lavender Candle was your favorite thing to buy at Rethreaded- Do you have a new favorite or will that always be your number one pick?
“Jesse’s favorite is now and forever the Lavender Candle, but lately Lexi has been lovely gifting the Grace Scarf to her gal pals for birthdays and holidays.”
We are so thankful to Jesse and Lexi for taking the time to share a bit of themselves with us. If you have not already- we hope you get the chance to experience their kindness and creativity. Check out more of their work on their instagram and website.
